LG launches a Direct View LED TV with a massive 325-inch screen that costs up to $1.7 Million

Korean tech giant, LG Electronics has launched an enormous ‘direct view LED TV’ which offers a very expansive screen and an extreme home cinema system for the super-luxury segment of customers.

The company targets the super-luxury home customers with this monster home entertainment system.

The company has dubbed the giant Tv as Extreme Home Cinema which measures a whopping 325 inches (27ft) wide. The tv is available in 2K, 4K and 8K configurations.

The TV is described as the ‘supercar of home theater displays’ by the firm. The wall-size flatscreen LED TV is said to cost up to a whopping $1.7 million for the top end variant.

This is not the first time a company has launched such a large Television, Samsung also recently unveiled its own enormous screen dubbed The Wall, which has a whopping 1,000 inch size.

As per the company, ‘the LG indoor fine-pitch direct view LED (DVLED) home cinema display allows viewers to immerse themselves in the captivating brilliance, vibrant colour, wide contrast ratio, and breathtaking screen sizes in your own home theatre”.

The TV is available in 2K options up to 196-inches wide, 4K options up to 393-inches wide, and an 8K option, measuring 325-inches wide.

The company says the huge Television comes with virtually everything you need, except the popcorn.

The television can also be bought in different configurations and sizes starting from 81 inches to a massive 325-inch based on the space in their home. Users can get it in horizontal, vertical and even diagonal sets.

Users can also take it with them on holiday with a flight case.

The LG DVLED TV uses millions of LEDs to form a complete picture in customized shapes and can scale to sizes.

The setup affords 4K and 8K quality uses up to 33 million diodes.

While the 16:9 aspect ratio is available basically, you can also have the 32:9 ratio which enables you to watch multiple videos at the same time.

It is available with a WebOS controller that provides smart TV functionality for the massive TV system.

Similar to Samsung’s The Wall TV, there are no fixed prices available for the LG DVLED TV due mainly to variations in the installation and other customized features that come with the installation.

However, customers have to pay a huge cost as reports have suggested that the prices range from £50,000 ($70,000) to £1.2 million ($1.7 million).

LG has already started receiving orders for the gigantic 325-inch DVLED TV.

It will be a great luxury addition to provide a larger-than-life TV viewing experience.
