Itel S17 with triple rear cameras, 5,000mAh battery launched: Check price, specs

Itel has launched an entry-level smartphone Itel S17 last week in the Nigerian market. The phone comes with a triple rear camera setup and a 5,000mAh battery. The phone is powered by an octa-core processor with 1GB of RAM and offers 16GB of inbuilt storage.  It comes with a single storage configuration and three colours.

Itel S17 price, availability

The new Itel S17’s price is set at NGN 45,000 (around Rs 8,200) for the single 1GB RAM + 16GB storage option. The phone is available in Sky Blue, Multicolor Green, and Deep-Ocean Black colour options.

The phone is set to go on sale in Nigeria from next week in both the online and offline stores. However, it is uncertain whether the smartphone will arrive in other international markets or not.

Itel S17 specifications

The Itel S17 features a 6.6-inch HD+ screen with 720×1,612 pixels resolution, 2.5D curved protection, and 90 percent screen-to-body ratio. The phone has a slight chin at the bottom and has an waterdrop-style notch for selfie camera on the display. It runs Android 11 Go edition with Itel’s custom skin on top.

Under the hood, it carries an unknown 1.3GHz quad-core processor, along with 1GB of RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage that can be expanded further with the help of a microSD card ( up to 128GB).

For photos and videos, the phone sports a triple rear camera setup in a rectangular camera module that houses an 8-megapixel primary camera. The other camera specs is not available as of yet. At the front, the phone has an 8-megapixel shooter for selfies and video chats. The selfie camera has AI Face Beauty 4.0, Bokeh, AR Stickers, and more.

It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that the company has claimed that it has 27 days of standby time, 7 hours of ongoing filming, 30 hours of uninterrupted calls, and 70 hours of entertainment. It has a fingerprint sensor at the rear and also supports Face Unlock.
