iQOO 9 series confirmed launch on this date of February on Amazon

Vivo sub-brand iQOO has confirmed the launch dates of its next flagship smartphone-iQOO 9 series in the global markets. The iQOO 9 series will be launched on February 23, 2022. The flagship series comprises of the iQOO 9, the iQOO 9 Pro and the iQOO 9 SE.

The smartphones (iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro) have launched in China earlier this year. However in India we are expected to have three smartphones (iQOO 9, iQOO 9 Pro, iQOO 9 SE). The specifications might be the same as its Chinese counterpart or with a slight difference.

According to the teaser poster shared by iQOO, the iQOO 9 series 5G will debut on February 23. The latest iQOO series will offer the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset in India.

Both the iQOO 9 and the iQOO 9 Pro are expected to have similar specifications along with few changes. The iQOO 9 Pro will feature a big 6.78-inch AMOLED display, while the non-pro model will feature a relatively smaller 6.5-inch AMOLED display.

The iQOO 9 Pro offers Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of Internal Storage. On the camera front, the device is expected to have triple rear camera (50MP + 16MP +50MP). The battery of the smartphone is 4700mAH with support for 120W fast charging.

On the other hand, the iQOO 9 offers Snapdragon 888+ chipset with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of Internal Storage. On the camera front, the device is expected to have triple rear camera (48MP + 13MP +13MP). The battery of the smartphone is 4350mAH with support for 120W fast charging.

The iQOO 9 SE is expected to be the cheapest of the iQOO 9 series and is assumed to be a rebranded version of another iQOO device. The phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 888 chipset coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM with 128GB/256GB storage options. While the display is expected to have 6.6-inch AMOLED 120Hz display. The camera setup includes a rear primary camera of 48MP and front selfie camera of 16MP. It is expected that the device will offer 4500mAh battery and 65W fast charging.

We are expecting that iQOO will reveal some features of the three devices before its launch in India. If you are someone who is planning to purchase a new flagship smartphone, you better wait for a couple of days and then check the iQOO 9 series. You might be able to get a better device than the one which you are currently planning to buy.
