iPhone Ultra battery details revealed in new leak report
The possible battery specification details of the upcoming Apple first foldable smartphone iPhone Ultra leaked.
Apple is reportedly working on it’s first foldable smartphone, which is expected to be called as iPhone Ultra. Though, Apple has not made any official confirmation regarding it’s existence, we have got several rumours, leak reports and analysis.
Latest report we received has revealed the possible battery specifications of the device.
Notable tipster Digital Chat Station have shared a new post on Weibo, which stated that the usual battery suppliers of Apple has reportedly certified a pair of batteries together. The batteries are said to be for a foldable smartphone as the phone will have split batteries due to the form factor.
The batteries in question have a rated capacity of 1,921 mAh and 2,962 mAh, respectively, giving us a grand total of 4,883 mAh. This is rated capacity, which means the typical advertised capacity will be 5,000 mAh. So that’s most likely what the iPhone Ultra will boast.
Interestingly, it’s on par with the rumored battery capacity of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, even though that has a different aspect ratio (it is in fact the successor to the Galaxy Z Fold7 from last year). Samsung’s direct iPhone Ultra competitor is the Galaxy Z Fold8, which is rumored to have a 4,800 mAh battery.
The iPhone Ultra is expected to be unveiled in September alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. Despite some past rumors claiming it would be delayed, the latest reports all suggest it will arrive as scheduled.
