Like the previous generation of iPhones, the iPhone 17 is at the centre of discussion much ahead of its launch in the market. We have got leak reports, analysis, rumours and much more about the upcoming iPhone lineup soon after the launch of the iPhone 16 series.
The Pro models of every iPhone iteration has garnered much attention in comparison to the basic ones. Likewise, the iPhone 17 Pro is a much anticipated device among the iPhone enthusiasts.
Let’s have a brief look at what the iPhone 17 Pro is expected to be offer.
iPhone 17 Pro: Leaks and rumors
According to leak reports and analysts, the iPhone 17 Pro will feature a revamped design including an aluminium frame not stainless steel frame seen in the iPhone X through iPhone 14 Pro models, or the titanium frame, currently used on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro devices.
The rear panel will sport a new design not seen before. Reports also suggested that it will feature a Google Pixel 9-like camera bump. Interestingly, the camera bump will grow larger and be crafted from aluminium, contrasting with the glass design seen on current Pro models.
It is also tipped to have a Narrowed Dynamic Island. The iPhone 17 Pro Max is rumoured to feature a significantly smaller Dynamic Island, thanks to Apple integrating a metalens into the Face ID system.
The rumour has it that the entire series will sport 120Hz screen refresh rate, a significant improvement over 60Hz.
The new A19 Pro chip will also be a new addition to the iPhone 17 Pro device. Apple’s next-generation A19 Pro chip is expected to be produced using TSMC’s advanced third-generation 3nm process. The new chip will provide enhanced performance and improved proficiency in comparison to the current iPhones.
Additionally, at least one iPhone 17 model is rumoured to include an Apple-designed Wi-Fi 7 chip, replacing the Broadcom chips used in previous models.
Apple will also likely broaden the storage space of the next-gen iPhone. The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max are both rumoured to feature an upgraded 12GB RAM, like the Pro Max models. This might be due to the addition of Apple Intelligence features.
The iPhone 17 lineup will feature a 24-megapixel front-facing camera across all models. Additionally, the iPhone 17 Pro models are rumoured to include an upgraded 48-megapixel Telephoto camera, a major improvement over the 12-megapixel Telephoto camera on the iPhone 16 Pro models. These enhancements aim to deliver superior image quality and better photography capabilities for both front and rear cameras.
At the end all the above information about iPhone 17 Pro are mere speculation. So, they might not come true in the final product.
