iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max might offer better battery backup than iPhone 15 Pro devices

Apple will be launching the iPhone 16 series in September 2024 and there are multiple leaks that are flooding the Internet. According to the latest rumour posted on Weibo, the battery capacity on the iPhone 16 Pro devices will be better than the iPhone 15 models. The increase in battery capacity on the devices does point out that the battery backup on them will be more.

The Apple iPhone 16 Pro is expected to get a 3577 mAh battery and that will be will be more than 9 percent when compared with the iPhone 15 Pro’s 3274 mAh capacity. Similarly, iPhone 16 Pro Max’s battery is rumoured to be 4676 mAh. This means that the capacity has increased by 5 percent when compared with iPhone 15 Pro Max’s 4441 mAh cell.

Even though the changes on the device are not massive there, the constant improvement on the devices is worth appreciating. It is expected that the iPhone 16 series will be offering improvements in the chipset as well as the display panel. This roughly means that the device will offer improved longevity as compared to the iPhone models.

Speaking about the iPhone 16 as well as iPhone 16 Pro Max models, they are tipped to support 40W wired and 20W Magsafe wireless charging. As compared to the iPhone 15 Pro and the Pro Max devices this is an upgrade. The 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max devices offered 27W and 15W charging respectively. An improvement in the battery life as well as the charging capacity of devices is always appreciated by the consumer.
