After Apple launched the iPhone 13 series phones, everyone is now waiting for the upcoming iPhone 14 series. In the last few days, many rumours and leaks about the iPhone 14 series has surfaced online. These leaks have given us a peek as to what we can expect from the upcoming devices.

The leaks and rumours suggest that Apple may introduce an iPhone 14 Max instead of the mini model in 2022. The iPhone 14 Max will be larger than the mini size and is tipped to feature a 6.68-inch display with a standard 60 Hz refresh rate. The iPhone 14 Max is likely to be equipped with the A16 Bionic chipset and an improved set of cameras.

Plenty of design changes are reported for the iPhone 14 series. A recent leak reported that the upcoming iPhone will sport a “hole plus pill” design, while a previous leak hinted towards a single punch-hole display. However, these designs will be be limited to only the Pro models.

iPhone 14 Max: Specs and features

Apple is rumored to replace the mini model with a larger size iPhone 14 Max. This rumour was also spotted during the launch of iPhone 13 but it did not happen at that time. As per the rumors, the mini model may be scraped due to its poor sales.

The iPhone 14 Max moniker isn’t confirmed yet, but some leaks and rumours have let us a take at some of its key specs. The iPhone 14 Max is tipped to have a similar-sized display as the iPhone 14 Pro Max at 6.7-inches. But, it won’t have the any high-end display features as the Pro models.

The iPhone 14 Max may not feature the high refresh 120Hz LTPO panel. However, another leak report has suggested that iPhone 14 Max may feature a 120Hz LTPS panel. So we don’t know what we will see in the upcoming iPhone.

Apple is also expected to improve the cameras on the Pro models. Leak report have revealed that Apple may switch to a 48-megapixel camera instead of the 12-megapixel camera that the company has been using on iPhones. This camera could be capable of recording 8K videos.

The iPhone 14 may be powered by a new A16 Bionic, which is said to be based on a 4nm/3nm manufacturing process. However, there’s a possibility that Apple will continue with the 5nm chipset as TSMC is facing production issues with smaller chipsets. Other than that, we may have higher RAM up to 6GB on the iPhone 14 Max.

Tipster LeaksApplePro recently leaked the pricing details of the iPhone 14 series. As per the tipster, iPhone 14 will likely have a starting price of $799, which is the same as the iPhone 13 last year. As for the iPhone 14 Max, the leak suggests a price of $899 (around Rs 66,990).
