Infinix Zero 5G launched in India at Rs 19999; offers 120Hz display and MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor

Smartphone manufacturer Infinix has launched its first 5G smartphone- Infinix Zero 5G in India today. The smartphone will go on sale on e-commerce website Flipkart from February 18. Flipkart is offering some exciting offers on the purchase of the new smartphone. Some bank offers are also present on the purchase of the Infinix Zero 5G.

The Infinix Zero 5G is powered by a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC with 8GB RAM and a storage of 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The storage of the device can be expanded through a microSDcard up to 256GB. The smartphone also supports additional 5GB virtual RAM. The display is 6.78-inches (1080×2460 pixels) along with refresh rate of 120Hz.

In terms of optics, the smartphone gets a 48 MP triple camera setup at the rear and a 16 MP selfie camera. The 48MP primary camera comes with f/1.79 lens. The other two cameras are 13MP zoom lens and 2 MP depth sensor. The rear camera setup also supports slow motion, super night mode, 4K video recording and many more.

The device runs Android 11-based XOS 10 out of the box. Users can purchase the smartphone with two colour options- Cosmic Black and Skylight Orange.

The connectivity features on the device include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth version 5, GPS, OTG, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. The sensors present on the smartphone include ambient light sensor, light sensor, barometer, gyroscope, g-sensor, e-compass, and proximity sensor. For handset gets a fingerprint sensor for authentication purposes as well. The device packs a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The dimensions of the device are 168.73×76.53×8.77mm while the weight is 199 grams.

Speaking about price of the device, the Infinix Zero 5G costs Rs 19,999 for a sole variant 8GB+128GB variant. However, there are some excellent offers on Flipkart on the purchase of the device. Infinix Snoker wireless earbuds that cost Rs 999 can be purchased for just Rs 1 while purchasing the smartphone. No-cost EMIs starting at Rs 1667 are also applicable on smartphone. An instant discount of Rs 750 is available on Citi Bank cards. The provision of Flipkart’s smart upgrade is also available on Infinix Zero 5G at just Rs 99.

Considering the price range of the Infinix Zero 5G (below Rs 20,000), it is expected to perform great in the Indian market.
