Infinix has launched another affordable smartphone packed with good features and specifications. The smartphone is called the Infinix Smart 8 Pro, which is the sibling of the Smart 8, which was launched last year in some markets, but came to India a couple of weeks ago. The Infinix Smart 8 packs a Helio G36 SoC, 50MP camera, and XOS 13 based on Android 13 Go. And the new Smart 8 Pro smartphone comes with similar specifications as the Indian Smart 8.
Infinix has not revealed the price and sale date of the smartphone yet, but it has confirmed that the device will be available in two storage options -4GB RAM and 8GB options, 64GB RAM and 128GB variant. The Infinix Smart 8 Pro is offered in four shades – Timber Black, Shiny Gold, Galaxy White, and Rainbow Blue colors.
The smartphone can be said to be available in India as the Smart 8. The device is listed in a single 4GB and 64GB storage configuration for a price of Rs 7,499 . So, it is expected that the India variant of the Infinix Smart 8 Pro will carry different specifications.
Specifications, features
The Infinix Smart 8 Pro comes with a 5,000 mAh battery with 10W charging and is powered by Helio G36 SoC. The HD+ LCD screen of the device measures 6.6″ inches and supports up to 90Hz, and 500 nits of peak brightness, and features a Dynamic Island-like Magic Ring.
The smartphone boots Android 13 Go-based XOS 13 operating system. The device packs up to 64GB of RAM and 128GB of storage that can be expanded further up to 2TB with the use of a microSD card.
Infinix has packed three three-camera lens on the phone including an 8MP selfie shooter at the front along with two rear sensors of a 50MP primary lens, and an unspecified “AI Lens” with an f/2.0 aperture.
The other features of the Infinix Smart 8 Pro include USB-C, a 3.5mm headphone jack, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Sensors on the device are a gyroscope, e-compass, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. The device has DTS sound processing with a 200% Super Volume boost.
The device has a feature that lets you call people on WhatsApp without adding their numbers. However, this feature will arrive through an OTA.
