Huawei MateBook X Pro 2022 notebook launched in China, When in India

The laptop market has seen a great boom during the period of Covid-19 pandemic. As more and more employees worked from home, the need for a laptop increased. Recently Huawei has launched a new laptop in its Matebook series. The company has launched Huawei Matebook X Pro 2022 in China. For those who are unknown, the Huawei Matebook X Pro 2022 is the successor of Matebook X Pro 2021 that was launched earlier this year.

The Huawei Matebook X Pro 2022 is powered by either 11th Gen Intel Core i5 or Intel Core i7 processor. The laptops are available with 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. The Huawei Matebook X Pro 2022 11th Gen Intel Core i5 (16 GB+ 512 GB) costs CNY 9,499 (roughly Rs. 1,11,900). On the other hand, the Intel Core i7 (16 GB+ 512 GB) costs CNY 10,499 (roughly Rs. 1,23,700). The 16GB +1 TB variant costs CNY 12,499 (roughly Rs. 1,47,300). The notebook is expected to go on sale in China on January 6.

The storage option on the laptop is SSD rather than HDD. This means that it will be more efficient in terms of performance. In terms of OS the Huawei Matebook X Pro 2022 gets a Windows 11 Home.  The display of the laptop is 14.2 inches along with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The screen-to-body ratio is 92.5 percent while the maximum brightness is 500 nits. Some other important features are 710p webcam, six speakers, four microphones etc.

In terms of connectivity, the Huawei Matebook X Pro 2022 gets Bluetooth 5.1 support, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, four USB Type-C ports, 3.5mm jack, Display Port support etc. For added security the power button adds up as a fingerprint reader. The trackpad is pressure-sensitive and allows users to take screenshots and control brightness, playback and volume. The dimensions of the laptop are 31×22.1×1.5cm while the weight is 1.38kg.

If compared with the older version of the Matebook, the 2022 version of the same has improvements in charging as well as heat management. The display of the current Matebook is also bigger than its predecessor. The approximate weight is 1.38kg. We hope that the Huawei Matebook X Pro 2022 gets a launch in India in the recent future.
