How To Restore Deleted Posts On Instagram, Check Details Here

Instagram has recently launched a feature which allows its users to retrieve posts which has been deleted from the account. This new feature allows users to retrieve any photos, videos, reels, IGTV videos and stories which had been deleted for a period of 30 days.

Instagram announced this new feature on its blog. This social networking service owned by Facebook also explained that it would ask users to verify themselves before restoring a deleted post. This feature would come handy when a hacker gains control of a user’s account, explained Instagram.

The deleted posts of a user will be removed from his account and moved to recently deleted folder. The deleted stories that are not in user’s achieve will stay in the folder for next 24 hours. Other posts (apart from stories) will be automatically deleted in next 30 days.

Users can access deleted content by following the given steps

  • Go to Settings
  • Click on Account
  • Click on recently deleted
  • Choose restore or permanently delete the post
