  • Now type Safari in the search tab and open it.
  • Tap on Open URLs.
  • Type wa.me/in the URL text field.
  • Tap on the Ask Each Time button right above the keyboard and  click on done button.
  • Now tap on the play (a triangular) button in the bottom left corner of the screen.
  • Then enter the number you would like to message on WhatsApp without saving, including the country code but excluding the plus (+) or two zeroes (00). So, for example, if you want to contact a Indian number you can add the 91 country code but don’t need to add the +.
  • Tap on Done button.
  • When you run the shortcut it will ask for your permission. So press on Allow when the privacy alert pops up.  Note that the privacy alert will be shown for the first time only.
  • Now you can chat with the person without needing to save their contact number in your contacts.
  • After that whenever you want to message an unsaved number you just need to go to the Shortcuts app.
  • Click on the created shortcut to trigger it.
  • Paste the unsaved number.
  • Hit on Done button, and you will instantly be taken to the WhatsApp chat.

You may think this is all more complicate than saving and deleting a number. It may be true, if you only need to contact one or two person, but if you need to message more than one unsaved contact then it will be fairly simple after its set up.

This will save a lot of time when we are looking for a new house or inquiring about a product or doing some research.
