Google Chrome for iPhone gets new features

Google has rolled out new Chrome features for iPhone users. The new features include an updated Google lens as well. Check what new features iPhone Chrome users are getting with the update.

Google Lens update

The Google Lens has been updated with the new Chrome update. The new update now allows iPhone users to add words to their visual searches. It will let them get specific search results. For example, you can ask a question about a picture that’s capturing your eye or you can also ad a colour or visual attribute you want.

Saving files direct to drive

With the latest update, Chrome users on iPhone can now save content and photos directly to drive. This will help users save up on storage space consumption. You can add file from Chrome to your Drive by simply selecting on the Google Drive option when saving the file. All the downloaded files will be saved in a folder named “Saved from Chrome” on the drive.

A Google blog post, “If you want to save an image from Chrome to Photos, simply long-press the picture and select “Save in Google Photos.”

The Google bog post also added,  “If Chrome has Shopping Insights for a product that you’re browsing for, once the feature is available on your device you’ll see a “Good Deal Now” notification right in your address bar.”

For iPhone users in the US, Google is set to roll out a feature for Chrome on iOS that can help them find great prices while shopping.
