Fitbit Luxe Launched With Jewellery-Like Design, Stress Management Tools; Price, Specifications

Fitbit has launched its latest offering to the fitness band in India and globally today. The latest fitness band is called Fitbit Luxe.

This new fitness band is a little different from the usual wearable as it has a jewellery-like design that looks to make a fashion statement.

The company has partnered with Laguna Beach-based jewellery brand gorjana for the design of the Fitbit Luxe.

The wearable has a special Edition which is available in two design options such as Parker Link Bracelet in soft gold stainless steel, and a swimproof classic silicone peony band.

The wearable comes with a stainless steel case which gives it a feel of handcrafted jewellery. The stainless steel case is made using a metal injection moulding.

The wearable claims to offer up to five days of battery life and has heart rate, stress, and sleep monitoring features.

Fitbit Luxe price in India, sale

The new Fitbit Luxe will be priced in India starting at Rs 10,999. It will come in varied silicone band colour options and even a woven style that wraps around your hand twice.

Fitbit will come with free Fitbit Premium subscription of six-months for new buyers.

The gorjana for Fitbit Luxe Special Edition will be priced at Rs 17,999.

Fitbit Luxe will be available for purchase through Fitbit online store and major other retailers in late May. It’s currently available for pre-orders in US.

The Fitbit Luxe is up for Pre-order at $149.95 (around Rs 11,200). While the Special Edition of the wearable is also available for pre-orders today at $199.95 (around Rs 14,900).

Fitbit Luxe features, specifications

The Fitbit Luxe features a colour AMOLED touchscreen button-less display with 20 different on-wrist exercise modes. The exercise modes include golf, pilates, spinning or tennis and running, biking and more.

The wearable has 24×7 heart rate monitoring, menstrual health tracking,detailed sleep monitoring. The fitness band also tracks all-day steps, distance covered and calories burned in a day.

Fitbit Luxe also has stress management tools that offer a stress management score based on your activity levels, sleep, and heart rate.

Premium members can also get a detailed information on their exertion, sleep patterns and responsiveness.

Apart from heart rate monitoring, the Fitbit app also tracks users breathing rate, heart rate variability (HRV), resting heart rate (RHR), and skin temperature variation to ascertain a sudden change in behaviour, which could be a sign of stress, fatigue or a cold.

In addition to all the health and fitness features, Luxe has key convenience and smart features like alarms, a stopwatch and timers.

The Fibit Luxe supports devices running on iOS 13.3 or higher, and Android OS 8.0 or higher.
