Ducati Introduces Customised Monster 797 To Mark 25th Anniversary

New Delhi: Motorcycle brand Ducati has launched a customised edition of their Monster 797 model to commemorate its 25th year in the Indian market.

Equipped with a custom-made fuel tank, the special edition bike has been has been customised by Ducati India in association with Rajputana Customs which is known for its detailed incarnations. Notably, the Monster 797 is the first Ducati bike to have been commissioned by them.

Notably, Ducati Monster 797 is the entry-level motorcycle in the Monster series and targets young buyers. It boosts of an 803cc liquid-cooled engine that makes 73 hp and 67 Nm of torque and features a six-speed gearbox.

Ducati India had also launched Ducati Monster 797+ in India in June this year which featured enhanced design elements and functionality. It was priced at par with the Monster 797 model at Rs 8.03 lakh.

Sergi Canovas, MD of Ducati India said that Monster is a bike that has become a cult and has been recognized worldwide with love since its inception for its muscular look with the true aesthetics of a naked bike. He added that the Monster 797 in the Rajputana Custom ‘Edizione Speciale’ looks every bit perfect and serves as the appropriate homage to this iconic motorcycle.

The first ever Ducati Monster 797 was manufactured in Bologna in 1992. It was launched in the year 1993 after a public debut at Intermot International Exhibition in Cologne in 1992.
