This has invoked intense criticism from users as users are questioning how the app can show its status on their phones when they have not saved its number and saying that this is the example of its new policy.

The pics in WhatsApp status said that “We are committed to your privacy”.

Earlier, WhatsApp has postponed its new privacy policy which was going to be on effect from February 8 by 3 months after facing intense criticism by the users.
