BSNL Launches New DSL Broadband Plans Starting At Rs 299, Know Details Here

Bhubaneswar: The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched three new broadband plans for its users. These plans have been priced at Rs 299, Rs 399 and Rs 555.

However, the above mentioned plans are meant for traditional wireline subscribers (DSL) and are not meant for Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) broadband plan users. BSNL has more than 70 lakh wireline subscribers which are far more than FTTH subscribers in India.

Rs 299 Broadband Plan

This plan offers users with 100 GB data at a speed of 10 Mbps. Post the 100 GB data cap users will experience internet at a speed of 2 Mbps. The validity of the plan is six months, after which users will be automatically migrated to Rs 399 plan. Users will also get an additional benefit of unlimited voice calling through this plan.

The plan is available to all BSNL users across India except for those in Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

Rs 399 Broadband Plan

The Rs 399 plan offers users with 200 GB data at a speed of 10 Mbps. Post the 200 GB data cap users will experience internet at a speed of 2 Mbps. Users will also get an additional benefit of unlimited voice calling through this plan. The minimum period for which users can avail the plan is one month.

Rs 555 Broadband Plan

The 555 broadband plan is the most expensive of the three newly launched plans. It offers users with 500GB data at a speed of 10 Mbps. Post the 500 GB data cap users can access internet at reduced speed of 2 Mbps. Users will also get an additional benefit of unlimited voice calling through this plan.

The newly launched broadband plans of Rs 299, Rs 399 and Rs 555 will be available to users from March 1, 2021 onwards.
