BlackBerry Evolve In India For First Time; Available On Amazon At Rs. 24,990

New Delhi: For the first time in India, BlackBerry Evolve is on sale via Amazon’s Great Indian Festive Sale. The smartphone, launched in August this year has been priced at Rs. 24,990. As per reports, the smartphone will soon be available on offline stores across the country.

In terms of specifications, the device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box and features a 5.99 inch full HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) Fullview IPS LCD display with an 18:9 aspet ratio. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM. The internal storage of 64GB is expandable via microSD card.

BlackBerry Evolve features a dual rear camera with two 13MP sensors with f/2.0 aperture, RGB+ Mono mode and dual tone LED flash. It also includes refocus mode, 4X autofocus and slow motion video camera. The front camera sports a 16MP fixed focus sensor with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash.

The phone features a 4,000mAh battery besides a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor with a claimed unlock time of 0.3 seconds. The device also features face unlock capabilities with a claimed unlock time of 0.4 seconds. The connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, FM Radio, USB Type-C with OTG and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

One of the key highlights of the model includes the BlackBerry Password Keeper app that enables users secure passwords in a vault besides helping in the creation of new, secure passwords.
