Bhubaneswar: A bunch of smartphones was launched this year. Here’s a look at the top 10 budget smartphones as a part of ‘Best of 2018’ series.

Xiaomi Redmi 6A

The smartphone sports a 5.45-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720×1440 pixels along with an aspect ratio of 18:9. Under the hood, the Redmi 6A is powered by a MediaTek Helio A22 SoC, clubbed with 2GB RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.

The smartphone will be up for grabs in two variants one with 2GB RAM with 16GB storage and another with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. Xiaomi Redmi 6A is listed on Amazon for Rs 5,999 for the 16GB variant, and Rs 6,999 for the 32GB variant.

The RealMe U1 has been priced at Rs. 11,999 for its 3GB RAM/ 32GB inbuilt storage variant. Its top variant, the 4GB RAM/ 64GB inbuilt storage model, is priced at Rs. 14,999. The device will be available in Ambitious Black and Brave Blue colour options. The Fiery Gold option available from the New Year. The dual-SIM (Nano) Realme U1 runs ColorOS 5.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. It comes with 3GB and 4GB RAM options.

The dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone runs Android 8.1 Oreo on top of Funtouch OS 4.5 and features a 6.41-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) Halo FullView 3.0 Super AMOLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB with OTG, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Vivo V11 Pro Supernova Red has a 3,400mAh battery that supports Dual-Engine fast charging. It measures 157.91×75.08×7.9mm and weighs 156 grams.

It is priced at Rs. 20,990.

This smartphone is powered by 2GHz octa-core processor and it comes with 3GB of RAM. The phone packs 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Xiaomi Redmi Y2 packs a 12-megapixel (f/2.2, 1.25-micron) primary camera on the rear and a 16-megapixel front shooter for selfies. Its price starts at Rs. 9426.

The smartphone will sport a 6.18-inch full-HD+ display with an 18.7:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass. It will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC, paired with 4GB/ 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB/ 128GB of inbuilt storage. Internal Storage on the Nokia 8.1 might be expandable via microSD card (up to 400GB). The smartphone will sport a 3,500mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.

It is priced at Rs. 23,999.

The Redmi Note 5 Pro starts at Rs 14,999 for the base 4GB RAM and 64GB storage version while the top-end version with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage costs Rs 16,999. Both the versions are now available for buying on Flipkart and people can buy the base version for as low as Rs 649 and the top-end version for as low as Rs 2,649.

The smartphone is priced in India at Rs. 12,999 for the 3GB RAM / 32GB storage variant, Rs. 14,999 for the 4GB RAM / 64GB storage variant, and Rs. 16,999 for the 6GB RAM / 64GB storage variant.

The smartphone is priced at Rs. 19,999 for its lone 4GB/64GB variant. Nokia 7.1 is a part of Android One program and runs on Android Oreo out-of-the-box. There is a 3,060mAh non-removable battery under the hood with 18W fast charging, delivering a 50 percent charge in 30 minutes.
