New Delhi: German car giant Audi on has introduced its first all-electric series production car. Called ‘e-tron’, the car will hit European and American markets by the end of this year. After this, it will be introduced in other important markets, including India, in a phased manner next year.
‘e tron’ is a five-seater SUV and is sxpected to hit the Indian markets by the end of 2019. Furthermore, the electric vehicle is also speculated to be priced above Rs. 1 crore, which is more than the price of Audi Q7 SUV.
The car is slighter larger in size than the Q5 model but less than the Q7. The vehicle boosts of two electric motors that are CO2-neutral and possess a combined power output of 360PS. Audi has revealed that the model has a top speed of 200kmph.
Offering the signature spaciousness and comfort of Audi, the SUV has a luxurious interior besides a range of other features like high end media center MMI navigation, assist system for driver, route planner, LTE advanced and a Wi-Fi hotspot.
