Asus ZenFone 8 Series Key Specifications Emerge Online, Snapdragon 888 SoC Tipped

Asus is reportedly working on its ZenFone 8 series smartphones, and now some key specification details of the upcoming series has been leaked online.

As per reports, Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) approved two new ASUS phones with model numbers ZS590KS and ZS672KS and these devices are likely to be called as the ZenFone 8 series smartphones.

Tipster ReaMEIZU shared some information on the upcoming Asus series phones. The tipster revealed that a phone with model number ZS590KS which will likely be called the ZenFone 8 is codenamed SAKE, The ZenFone 8 is tipped to feature a small 5.9-inch full-HD+ OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. The resolution of the device is not mentioned.

The phone could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC.

The phone is tipped to have a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 and Sony IMX663 sensors as well.

The other phone with model number ZS673KS which is expected to be the ZenFone 8 Pro is tipped to feature a full-HD+ display with 144Hz refresh rate.

The phone will likely be powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC and come with a 24-megapixel OV24B1Q sensor front camera and a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 cameras, OM13855, and OV8856 camera at the back.

The tipster also shared information about two other handsets with codenames Picasso and Vodka. Picasso has a codename of ZS675KW. It is expected to feature a 6.75-inch display and a 24-megapixel OV24B1Q front camera and triple camera setup at the back that includes a 64-megapixel Sony IM686 sensor, a Sony IMX363 sensor, and OV08A sensor.

The Asus Vodka phone is tipped to be powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC. It is not clear whether these phones are part of the Asus ZenFone 8 series or are a completely different model.

You should take note that the company hasn’t officially announced any detail of the upcoming Zen series yet.
