Asus ROG Phone 6 to launch in India on July 5, What can we expect from the device

The Asus ROG Phone 6 is going to launch on July 5 and we are excited about that. The company has revealed about the upcoming launch through its official Twitter handle. The launch of the smartphone will take place at 05:20 pm on July 5 and it will be a Flipkart exclusive like its predecessors.

The company has teased that the Asus ROG Phone 6 will be the first gaming smartphone in the world to have Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.

Even though the company has not revealed any important specifications of the smartphone, there have been many leaks and rumours about the product (ROG Phone 6). The important specifications of the smartphone have been mentioned in detail.

Asus ROG Phone 6 specs

The Asus ROG Phone 6 will be powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and will be paired with up to 18 GB of RAM. When it comes to storage, the smartphone will have UFS 3.1 storage up to 512 GB. A massive 6000mAh battery is expected to power the gaming smartphone.  The 6.78-inch AMOLED FHD+ display will offer up to 165Hz refresh rate. An in-display fingerprint scanner is present on the device for security purposes.

A 65W fast charging will be supported on the device. It will come along with Android 12-based ROG UI out of the box. In terms of the camera, a 64 MP triple rear camera setup will be present on the device. On the front, we can get a 12MP selfie camera for attending video calls and taking pictures.

The back side of the device will have ROG gamer branding along with a presence of RGB LED matrix. The smartphone is expected to be offered in two colour combinations- black and white. It is expected that an efficient cooling system will be present on the device just like its predecessor models. The ROG Phone 6 is expected to be at least spill-proof/ water-resistant.
