Apple MacBook Air M2 goes on pre-order from today, Check price and features
Apple launched the new M2 chip-equipped MacBook Air last month. The tech giant has announced that it would be available for purchase starting from today that is Friday, July 8 at 5 a.m. PDT/5:30 p.m. IST, the company announced on July 7. It will be accessible through Apple Authorized Resellers starting July 15.

The new MacBook Air is priced at Rs 1,19,900 for the 8-Core GPU, 256GB Storage edition and the 512GB, 10-Core GPU version is priced at Rs. 1,49,900. It is available for purchase in silver, space grey, midnight, and starlight colours.
Apple accessories include a 30W USB-C Power Adapter that costs Rs 3800, a 35W Dual USB-C Port Power Adapter that is priced at Rs 5800 while the 67W USB-C Power Adapter retails at Rs 5800, and others that are compatible with the World Travel Adapter Kit costs Rs 2900.

The new MacBook Air with M2 chip is equipped with a Liquid Retina 13.6-inch (2560 x 1664 pixels) display with True Tone, Wide colour (P3), and 500 nits of brightness, 224 PPI. It has a 8GB RAM that can be expandable up to 24GB, and 256GB or 512GB of SSD space (Configurable up to 2TB).
It has a Magic Keyboard which features a full-height function row with Touch ID and a spacious industry-leading Force Touch trackpad. It also has a 1080p HD camera for flawless FaceTime chats.
It is powered by the newly launched eight-core Apple M2 processor with four performance cores and four efficiency cores 16-core Neural Engine, 8-core / 10-core GPU.
It has a sound system that includes four speakers, stereophonic sound, support for spatial audio while playing music or videos on built-in speakers with Dolby Atmos, directional beamforming three-mic array, and a headphone jack of size 3.5 mm.
Apart from these the device comes with a MagSafe 3 charging port that are all supported by the two Thunderbolt / USB 4 ports.
It draws power from a Lithium-polymer battery with a 52.6 watt-hour capacity that offers up to 15 hours of wireless surfing and 18 hours of Apple TV app movie playback. The M2 with an 8-core GPU comes with a 30W USB-C power adapter, while the M2 with a 10-core GPU comes with a 35W dual USB-C port power adapter.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6, 2.4GHz + 5GHz.
