Apple iPhone Users Can Now Avail Wi-Fi Calling Support With Vodafone-Idea SIM: Check Compatible Devices

So when you are in a remote place and not able to make an important call due to low network connection as there is no cellular network tower nearby that’s where you can use Wi-Fi calling.
Wi-Fi calling allows users to make regular calls over a Wi-Fi network do not need the cellular network. So you can make a call even when there is no mobile network.
The Wi-Fi calling service has already been made available to consumers of major telecom companies like Airtel, Vi and Jio for a while now.
Telecom company Vodafone Idea had already launched its Wi-Fi Calling feature back in 2020 for Android phones. Now, the telcos has released Wi-Fi Calling services for its Apple iPhone subscribers. iPhone will be able to use the Wi-Fi Calling service with a 4G enabled VI SIM card.
With this iPhone users with Vodafone Idea SIM can now be able to make better quality cellular voice calls without any extra cost in a bad network coverage area with Wi-Fi calling.
According to a report by the Indian Express., the service is currently available for iPhone users in Marahastra and Goa, Gujarat, Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata.

As of now, The Vodafone Idea Wi-Fi calling will be supported on the iPhone 6s and above, which means iPhone 6s, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X, iPhone XR, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and the iPhone 12 Pro Max should all be able to use the feature.
