Apple iPhone SE 3 major specs details tipped ahead of March 8 Event

Apple has confirmed to host its 2022 Spring launch event on March 8. Apple is expected to unveil an array of new products such as the iPhone SE 3, a new iPad Air, and more. Popular analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has predicted some key specification details of the next-gen iPhone SE ahead of the event.

As per the analyst, the iPhone SE 3 have a similar design to that of the iPhone SE 2 and the phone will be available in three colours. Apple would likely start mass production of the iPhone in March 2022, said the analyst.

The analyst posted the prediction about the Apple iPhone SE 3 through a tweet.

iPhone SE 3 specs (expected)

Kuo has revealed that the iPhone SE 3 will have a form factor similar to the iPhone SE 2. So, we can expect to see thick bezels, a single rear camera, and the Touch ID in the new iPhone.  This information corroborates what we have been hearing for a while now. This information also falls in line with some of the earlier reports.

The Apple iPhone SE 3 is also expected to be powered by the A15 Bionic chipset, which is also used on the latest iPhone 13 series, and 5G support (sub-6GHz and mmWave 5G bands). Kou has also predicted that the device will come in three storage variants — 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. The analyst also tweeted that three color options, namely Black, White, and Red for the device.

Kuo has also suggested some information about the iPhone SE 3 shipments. He said that Apple is likely to ship between 25 and 30 million units this year and will enter mass production this month. That means that it may not be available instantly after launch.

The iPhone SE 3 is said to come under the affordable range, making it the first inexpensive 5G iPhone. However, the tech-giant has not confirmed any of the predictions.

Along with the iPhone SE 3, Apple is expected to launch some more products during the March 8 event. As a few days remains for the Apple Event, some more details about the 2022 iPhone SE might surface online.
