Apple iPhone 14 series: Expected launch date, specifications and features

Tech-giant Apple is reportedly working on the Apple iPhone 14 series of smartphones. We have already seen many rumours about the upcoming iPhone series. These rumours started surfacing following the launch of Apple’s latest iPhone 13 series phones last year.

Apple iPhone 14 release date

According to reports, the Apple iPhone 14 series could get launched sometime in September 2022. Apple has always launched its flagship smartphone in the month of  September. So like previous years, we expect the tech giant to hold the launch event in the mentioned month.

In addition, rumours have suggested that the company may launch the ‘affordable’ iPhone SE 3 in its Spring Launch event, which was generally held in March. Apple may also unveil ‘affordable’ Macbooks during this launch event.

The company is reportedly planning to drop the mini version in the iPhone 14 series. So, the Apple iPhone 14 series might see four new smartphones — iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

As per reports of The Sun, Apple will launch the iPhone 14 series in September this year. The iPhone 14 will come with some design changes in comparison to its predecessors. Many reports have suggested that the iPhone 14 will come with a punch hole display instead of notch display that was seen in the previous models. Other changes the iPhone 14 could receive is a 120Hz refresh rate panel.

The Apple iPhone 14 is also tipped to come with a 48MP tri-camera setup.

The processor of Apple iPhone 14 will be powered by the next generation 4nm A16 Bionic processor. The news reports also say that 128GB might also make way for 256GB as base variant but, it seems very unlikely.

Meanwhile, Apple will likely unveil the third generation iPhone SE 3 next month in the global markets. However, Apple has not made any announcement regarding the launch of the iPhone SE 3 2022 yet.
