If you are looking to buy the upcoming Apple iPhone 14 then you may have to pay more than the price of its predecessors to get one. The Apple iPhone 14 Pro is tipped to have a higher starting price than its predecessor iPhone 13 Pro. According to a tipster, the iPhone 14 Pro may cost $100 (around Rs 7,400) higher than iPhone 13 Pro. The tipster has also added that the price difference could be more than a $100 between the iPhone 14 Max model and the iPhone 14 Pro.
As per the tipster the price hike may happen due to the increase in production costs.
Meanwhile, a recent report has suggested that the iPhone 14 Pro will have a pill-shaped hole-punch cutout and the Face ID is likely to be under the display.
Tipster LeaksApplePro has leaked on Twitter that the basic iPhone 14 price will start at $799 (around Rs 59,000), iPhone 14 Max starting price will be from $899 (roughly Rs 66,400), iPhone 14 Pro will have a starting price of $1,099 (around Rs 81,200), and lastly the top-end iPhone 14 Pro Max will be selling at a starting price of $1,199 (around Rs 88,600).
However, we do not know on which model the tipster is referring to when he said about the iPhone 14 Max, as there is not a iPhone 13 Max model.
The tipster added that the company is currently considering this pricing, so this should not be the final/ exact price. The tipster also says that the production costs are increasing, and “there has to be more than a $100 difference between the [iPhone] 14 Max and the [iPhone] 14 Pro.”
Let us tell you that the price of the iPhone 13 mini starts at $699 (around Rs 51,600) and the basic iPhone 13 is price starts from $799 (around Rs 59,000). The iPhone 13 Pro costs starts at $999 (around Rs 73,800), and the most premium model iPhone 13 Pro Max prices started at $1,099 (around Rs 81,200).
Meanwhile, a developer named Jeff Grossman has tweeted an mock-ups image of iPhone 14 Pro that shows the device with a pill-shaped hole-punch cutout for the selfie cameras and Face ID.
Last year in March, Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has also suggested about the hole-punch display of iPhone 14 series.
