Apple iPhone 14 Max: All we know about its price, launch, specifications, and other details so far

Apple is expected to introduce the iPhone 14 series later this year. Just like the previous launches, the launch of the Apple iPhone 14 series is expected to be in September 2022. Reports have suggested that the trial of the iPhone models have already begun. The upcoming iPhone series may come with four new models, but the Cupertino-based tech giant is reportedly planning to drop the “mini” model this time. Instead, we will likely get a iPhone 14 Max model in the upcoming series.

As per reports, the company may take this step this year since it was impacting the sales of the iPhone SE series, which was launched earlier this year. The latest iPhone SE (2022) has a starting price of Rs 43,900 for the 64GB model and goes up to Rs 58900 for the 256GB storage model.

Though Apple has not shared any information about the upcoming iPhone 14 Series, we have got many leaks, rumours and predictions reports about the upcoming iPhone models. So, lets know what the rumours, leaked reports have revealed about the upcoming iPhone 14 Max.

iPhone 14 Max launch date (expected)

If we look at the previous Apple iPhone launches, then the new iPhone 14 flagship series may debut around the second week of September. However, some reports have suggested that the launch could be delayed  due to rising COVID cases in China and restrictions imposed. While many others have also suggested that the tech giant is working with suppliers to ramp up production for a timely launch.

iPhone 14 Max price in India (expected)

The price of the four iPhone 14 series models was recently leaked by a tipster. The iPhone Max is tipped to be priced at $899 (around Rs 70,000). However, the device could cost more in India due to high import duty and GST. The vanilla iPhone 14 will be slightly cheaper than the Max globally. Just to let you know, the price of the iPhone 13 currently starts at Rs 69,900 in India.

iPhone 14 Max specifications (expected)

Talking about its specifications, the iPhone 14 Max is tipped to come with a 6.1-inch display with a wide-notch like the predecessor iPhone 12. The Pro models, on the other hand, are said to feature a different design and a pill-shaped notch on the display.

The iPhone 14 series models are tipped to be powered by the A16 Bionic chipset, which is expected to be slightly more optimised over the A15 Bionic chip and will improve the efficiency of performance. Like the iPhone 13 series, the iPhone 14 models are also likely to offer a minimum of 128GB storage, up to 512GB on-board storage.

For photography, the iPhone 14 Max is rumored to sport two camera sensors on the rear panel. The device may feature a single selfie shooter at the front that will be placed inside the wide notch similar to the iPhone 13 series. Apple is likely to optimise the sensors in a way that helps in better low-light camera performance.

With the iPhone 14 series, Apple is expected to offer better battery performance when compared to the predecessor. The iPhone 13 offers a long lasting battery life and lasts almost the entire day on a single charge.

iPhone 14 Max design (expected)

Apple is rumoured to planning to change the design of the iPhone 14 Pro models. However, the iPhone 14 and the iPhone 14 Max will sport almost similar look like the iPhone 13. The iPhone 14 Max is also expected to come in many attractive colours as well, like the iPhone 13 series. But, we are yet to get the confirmed name of the colour options.
