Android 12 based MIUI 13 update rolled out for Redmi Note 10 Pro and Note 8 (2021)
Chinese mobile manufacturer, Xiaomi recently announced its global rollout plans of Android 12 based MIUI 13 in Q1, 2022. The company has announced the new update roll out for budget device Redmi 10. Now, the company has rolled out the Android 12 based MIUI 13 upgrade for the Redmi Note 8 (2021) and the Note 10 Pro.
Redmi Note 8 (2021) MIUI 13 update
The MIUI 13 update comes with the January security patch and has been rolled out with firmware version V220.127.116.11.SCUMIXM for the Redmi Note 8 (2021). It is rolling out the “Global” region. The update comes with a full ROM is size of 2.7GB. The latest update has been marked as a “stable beta” that means it will not be available for everyone instantly. But after the company has fixed all the bug, more users will get it.
As per the official changelog, the update also brings better optimization for some apps and overall improvement in system stability along with the latest MIUI version to the device.
Redmi Note 10 Pro MIUI 13 update
Xiaomi has rolled out the MIUI 13 update for Redmi Note 10 Pro. but, it is available for only the Europen region users now. The update is available with the version number V18.104.22.168.SKFEUXM and is rolling out to devices in the EEA (European Economic Area) region. The size of the update is 3.3GB.
Like the update for Redmi Note 8 (2021), it is also marked as stable beta. The update will be released for all the users once the company declares it as bug-free.
The official changelog shows the update has brought optimized system performance and improved system security and stability for the device. It indicates that January security patch may get included in the update.
The Redmi 10 Pro users in the other regions are also expected to soon receive MIUI 13 update soon. The update may get rolled out for the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max device in the Indian market.
