All you need about the new Apple iPhone 14 which is set to launch in this year

The Apple iPhone 13 series launched just a few months back and the talks about the next Apple iPhone (iPhone 14) series is gaining momentum. It is expected that the new Apple iPhone 14 will have a huge change in terms of design as well as software. According to a new report it has been suggested that the notch design of the current generation will get replaced by a hole plus pill design. On the other hand the camera bump will disappear from the iPhone 14.

The iPhone 14 series will have four devices- iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max, and iPhone 14 Max. It is expected that the iPhone mini will be scrapped.

Specifications

The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro will feature a 6.1-inch display while the iPhone 14 Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max have bigger 6.7-inch displays. The Pro models are expected to 120Hz panels. On the other hand, the iPhone 14 series is expected to have a 48MP primary camera.

According to tipster Ross Young the iPhone 14 will have a 6.06-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1170 x 2532 pixels. The refresh rate will be 60Hz. The iPhone 14 Pro will have a 120Hz refresh rate. On the other hand, the iPhone 14 Pro Max is said to feature a 6.68-inch panel OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The iPhone 14 Max on the other hand is expected to replace the Mini model and could be equipped with a 60Hz refresh rate.

It is expected that the new Apple iPhone will have an A16 Bionic chipset which will be exclusive for iPhone 14 series. However, considering the problem faced by the company in chipset production, it might end up giving the 5nm chipset.

In terms of RAM, the iPhone 14 devices are expected to get 8GB RAM rather than 6GB RAM. In terms of storage, it is expected that the company can provide storage up to 2TB. It has already introduced the 1TB storage variant in the iPhone 13 series.

When it comes to optics, the rear camera module will have a 48MP camera and it will replace the 12 MP camera. The camera might be capable to shoot 8K video recordings.

Launch

The launch of the upcoming iPhone 14 series is expected to be in September 2022. For those who are unfamiliar with Apple’s launches, the iPhone 13 series debuted in September 2021.

Price

According to tipster LeaksApplePro, the iPhone 14 will start at $799 which is same as iPhone 13 series. As far as the iPhone 14 Max is concerned it will be priced at $899. On the other hand the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are priced at $1099 and $1199 respectively.
