All New Hyundai Santro Launched At Rs. 3.9 Lakh In India

New Delhi: Carmaker Hyundai on Tuesday announced the launch of its all-new Santro at Rs. 3,89,900 (ex-showroom). The company revealed that the pre-launch booking of the car started early this month and so far, more than 23,500 bookings have been placed.

The new model comes in five variant options viz. Dlite, Era, Magna, Sportz and Asta. The top-spec trim has been priced at Rs 5.46 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Magna and Sportz variants are also available with factory-fitted CNG kit and Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) options as well.

The new Hyundai Santro sports a large front grille which merges with the fog lamp that are placed a bit higher while the headlamps look quite conventional. The side and rear profiles of the car look sleek with small tail lamp clusters.

 

The interiors offer a decent cabin space with impressive headroom, USB, Aux and Bluetooth connectivity alongside features like Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and Mirror Link. Hyundai Santro gets a 1.1-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine which makes 69PS of power and 99Nm of torque. In terms of safety specifications, the new Hyundai Santro sports driver’s airbag and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD). The higher variants of the vehicle feature front passenger airbag, rear parking sensors and camera and seat belt pretensioner with load limiter and a speed sensing auto door locks feature.

Ahead of Diwali, the all-new revamped Hyundai Santro is expected to give stiff competition to Maruti Suzuki Celerio and Tata Tiago.
