Affordable Sony earbuds with customised sound launched in India, check price and battery backup

New Delhi: Sony India on Monday launched true wireless earbuds WF-C500 that offers sound customisation, long battery life and water resistance.

Priced at Rs 5,990, the earbuds come with Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE) for better sound and call quality. The 360 reality audio provides an immersive experience for the users. You will be able to get a feeling of a live concert by just plugging in the earbuds while relaxing at home.

The WF-C500 earbuds will be available across retail stores and e-commerce websites in India from January 16. Buyers can avail the WF-C500 earbuds in multiple colours- black, white, orange and green.

The earbuds offers a long-lasting battery life of up to 20 hours for calls and uninterrupted music playback, said the company. In case if you are in a hurry you can quickly charge it. 10 minutes of quick charging will give you an hour of playtime.

The WF-C500’s cylindrical charging case is small and easy to carry around in a pocket or bag.

The operation buttons also offer an easy way to access Google Assistant or Siri to make and receive calls hands-free.

In case you are someone who likes to explore outdoors, you will be pleased to know that the WF-C500 is protected against splashes and sweat. An IPX4 water resistance rating is provided to earbuds.

A single earbud can function on its own. This means that you will be able to listen to music while having a conversation with your family member/ friend/ loved ones.

“The WF-C500’s Bluetooth chip transmits sound to left and right ears simultaneously, along with optimised antenna design ensuring outstanding listening,” the company said.

The wearable also allow users to tailor the sound using the Equaliser setting in the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app.
