After the launch of OnePlus 7 Pro on May 14, 2019, in India at 8:15 IST, the tech-savvy consumers across the country have been taken for a stir.

The company launched its flagship OnePlus 7 Pro in a multiple city launch event around the globe. It features a curved notch less display with 90Hz refresh rate, triple rear cameras and a pop-up camera for taking selfies.

Barely a day after the launch, it is seen to be one of the most impressive launches in the year 2019. The OnePlus 7 Pro has three available variants in India. It has a 6GB+128GB variant, an 8GB+256GB variant and a 10GB+256GB variant.

Since OnePlus has come into action in the market, it is known to be providing smartphones with high-end features at a very reasonable price and very smooth experience. The OnePlus 7 Pro is the highest priced phone in the history of the company. The phone’s 6GB+128GB is priced at Rs.48, 999 and the 10GB+256GB variant is priced at Rs.57, 999.

This launch possesses a huge threat to the flagship phones of smartphone giants like Samsung, Apple, etc. The OnePlus 7 Pro stands out against the likes of Samsung Galaxy S10+, Apple iPhone XS Max and Huawei P30, flagship phones of different companies.

While the Samsung Galaxy S10+ is priced at Rs.73, 900, the OnePlus 7 Pro costs around Rs.15000 less. With a 6.4” (16.26 cm) display being the only factor the Samsung flagship stands out against the 6.67” (16.94cm) OnePlus 7 Pro.

The OnePlus boasts of a 48MP+16MP+8MP camera while the Samsung device has a 12MP+12MP+16MP camera. The Galaxy device has a 4,100mAh battery while the OnePlus 7 Pro has a 4,000mAh battery. The comparison may seem a bit one-sided, in the favour of OnePlus but that’s because it is.

Coming to the iPhone fraternity, the iPhone XS Max is the flagship one. It has a 6.5” (16.51 cm) display, 4GB RAM, 12MP+12MP camera and 3,174 mAh battery. The OnePlus has an octa-core processor while the iPhone has a hexa-core processor which makes the running smoother on the OnePlus device. The OnePlus phone comes with a fingerprint sensor while the Apple device doesn’t.

Huawei is another competitor which offers good competition to the OnePlus device with its Huawei P30 Pro. It houses a smaller display than the OnePlus 7 Pro with a 6.1” (15.49cm) screen. The phone is equipped with an octa-core processor with a 40MP+16MP+8MP camera. It possesses a 3,650mAH battery with 6 GB RAM. Huawei has delivered an attractive industrial design and an above average camera.

The OnePlus 7 Pro, in short, has a brilliant display, is a great phone for gaming, possesses superfast charging, has smooth user experience and gives out rich audio from the speakers. The camera is good but not out of the box and does not possess wireless charging like the Samsung Galaxy S10.

The OnePlus 7 Pro will go on sale on 16th of May on Amazon for the prime customers. For the non-prime customers, the sale would begin on the 17th of May. It will be available in classic Mirror Grey colour along with the new Almond and Nebula Blue hues.
