8GB RAM variant of Redmi Note 10S launched in India, Check price and specifications

Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Note 10S new variant- 8 GB RAM + 128 GB Storage in India today.  Earlier, the smartphone was available in 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128 GB variants respectively.

The company has priced the smartphone at Rs 17,499. The handset is available via Amazon, Mi.com, and offline stores. The company took to twitter to announce the development. The first sale of this particular variant will be at 12pm on December 3. Buyers can avail instant discount of Rs 1000 with ICICI Bank credit cards and EMI.

The Redmi Note 10S offers an AMOLED display, MediaTek Helio G95 SoC, a 5,000mAh battery, and 33W fast-charging support.

Specifications

The Redmi Note 10S features a 6.43-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with 2400×1080 pixels resolution and 1100 nits brightness.

The device is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm MediaTek Helio G95 chipset with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage. The Redmi Note 10S runs on MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 OS.

The device packs a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

The device comes with a quad rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel primary shooter, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, 2-megapixel super macro shooter, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The smartphone has a 13-megapixel selfie camera at the front side.

Connectivity options on the Redmi Note 10S include features like Wi-Fi, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, dual speakers, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Infrared, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The IP53 rating on the device provides additional protection against accidental splashes and slight rain.
