Ziqitza Health Care Ltd, Operator of Ambulance Helpline Services Rescued More Than 3000 People

Bhubaneswar: Ziqitza Health Care Ltd, the operator of the 108 and 102 ambulance helpline service in Odisha helped in rescuing and providing medical aid to over 3,000 people across five districts of Puri, Khordha, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur and Cuttack.

Officials of the private operator said that as many as 25 ambulances from the 108 and 102 helpline service were pressed into action for relocating residents to safer areas, a day prior to the cyclone.

“We recognise the need for immediate assistance and deployed our crew to support the people of Odisha during such trying times. We believe every life counts, and are glad to reach out to over 3000 people,” said Manish Sacheti, Chief Financial Officer Ziqitza Health Care Ltd.

Officials said that they transferred a number of patients by ambulance through co-ordination between Cluster Leaders and Chief District Medical Officers of concerned districts. The employees of Ziqitza Health Care Ltd also cleared roads by moving broken trees and other obstacles while transporting patients.
