Bhubaneswar: As many as five puppies were trampled to death by an Innova car in Bhubaneswar on late hours of Saturday.
According to reports, the incident took place in Ghusareswar area of Old Town in Bhubaneswar.
The driver of the vehicle identified as Prafulla trampled five puppies and killed them with his Innova car.
A case has been booked against the accused in Lingaraj police station. The accused Prafulla Rout has been arrested by the police.
The driver of the vehicle has been booked under sections 429, 506, 294 and Sec. 11 of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960.
