Berhampur: A youth sustained critical injuries after being stabbed by a friend following an altercation over during playing an online game in Jhadakuda village under Rambha police limits in Ganjam district last night.
The victim has been identified as Duryodhan Reddy of the same locality.
As per the report, the victim was busy playing Ludo Game online along with a friend near a temple in the village last night when an argument erupted between them over the same. As the verbal duel escalated further, the assailant took out a knife and stabbed Duryodhan multiple times in a fit of rage.
Some locals rushed the victim in a critical condition to a hospital in Chhatrapur soon after the attack and then shifted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital for better treatment.
No police complaint has been lodged in connection with the incident so far.
