Bhadrak: A youth was allegedly stabbed by miscreants in front of police during Kali Puja celebrations in Bhadrak Town on Tuesday night.
The victim identified as Jeet Padhiary is currently undergoing treatment at the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.
As per reports Padhiary was stabbed near Indrabhuban Jatra Pandal by a group of youths. He was immediately rushed to the Bhadrak District Headquarters Hospital from where he was referred to SCB Medical College.
Police suspect that past enmity was the motive behind the incident. “ We have started an investigation and are trying to nab the accused involved in the crime,” said a police official.
