Bhubaneswar: A youth was attacked with sharp weapons by two miscreants in the broad daylight near CBI office here in Odisha on Wednesday.
The victim has been identified as Pramod Sahu alias Sana. He sustained severe injury in his abdomen and right hand.
Sahu was rushed to the Capital Hospital here, but later shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack for treatment.
On being informed, Nayapalli police reached the spot and nabbed one of the accused.
Though the motive behind the attack is yet to be ascertained, police suspect past enmity behind the crime.
A case has been registered at Nayapalli Police Station in this connection. “Investigation is underway and a man haunt has been launched to nab the other accused”, police said.
