Jharsuguda: As per the reports a youth pushed to death by his friends following a brawl between them. The body of a 22-year-old youth was found in front of the Durlaga Gram Panchayat office under Talapatia police limits in Jharsuguda district today. The deceased has been identified as Tapan Sahu.
As per reports, the victim went outside last evening along with his two friends. They had dinner together and later and consumed liquor on the rooftop of the Panchayat office building. Then they got indulged in a heated argument. The situation took a violent turn and the two other friends allegedly pushed Tapan off the rooftop.

After getting information, Talapatia police reached the spot this morning and sent the body to Jharsuguda district headquarters hospital (DHH), where he was declared brought dead.
Police have detained a person in this connection while another is absconding. The investigation into the matter is on.
