Sambalpur: A youth has been killed while attending nature’s call near a canal in Burla of Sambalpur today. He was found dead under mysterious circumstances at the Garadapali canal. The deceased has been identified as Lambodar Nayak.
Reportedly, Kapil Nayak of the Mahulpalli area had come to the Ear Nose Throat (ENT) department of Burla VIMSAR for treatment on Wednesday.
Later this morning, Kapil’s son Lambodar and his brother-in-law Abhin Sundar went to attend nature’s call.
Some miscreants suddenly arrived at the spot, while Abhin was standing on the road and Lambodar was near the canal, Kapil’s son was stabbed in the stomach. As a result he lost his life on the spot.
On getting the information, Burla police arrived at the spot, recovered the body, and initiated an investigation into the matter.
