Angul: A youth has been killed in a road mishap near Athamalik town of Angul district in Odisha on Monday night.
The deceased has been identified as Chitrasen Sahu.
According to reports, the accident took place while the youth was going to Luhasinga from Athamalik on a bike at 9 pm in the night.
Chitrasen fell into the ditch as he was unaware of the pits which have been dug for the construction of poles at various places on the road, said Sushant Dehuri a native of Luhasinga village.
Member of Zilla Parishad has lodged a complaint and demanded Rs. 10 lakh compensation to the kin of the deceased.
Ms Kalinga
