Jajpur: In a tragic incident a youth died on the spot in a road accident in Jajpur district of Odisha on Wednesday. The accident took place at the Bramhani Devi Chhaka under Korei Police limits.
The deceased has been identified as Pradeep Natia of Sobar village.
As per reports, today morning Pradeep was on his way to his rented house through the Nuagada golei on his scooty vehicle. When he was Bramhani Devi chhaka a speeding truck hit his vehicle from the front side. As a result he was thrown out of his vehicle and killed on the spot.
Witnessing the accident the locals rushed to the spot and stopped the truck from moving away. They informed Korei Police. After getting information Police rushed to the spot and sent the body for autopsy. The truck has been seized.
It is to be noted that Pradeep had married 3 years back.
A pal of gloom has descended in the area following the sad demise of the youth.
