Youth killed after bike hits roadside tree in Dhenkanal

Kamakhyanagar: In yet another road mishap in Dhenkanal district last night, a youth was killed after the bike he was riding on hit a road side tree near Tandimunda Chhak under Kankadahada police limits.

The deceased has been identified as Bhagirath Mohanta (24) of Kaliapani area.

Mohanta who visited Kamakhyanagar town in some work last afternoon was returning home by his bike in the evening when the mishap took place. He lost control over the wheels due to some reason near Tandimunda Chhak and hit a roadside tree.

Some locals rushed the victim to Kamakhyanagar Hospital in a 108 ambulance immediately after the crash but doctors declared him brought dead there.

Police have sent the body for autopsy and seized the mangled motorcycle.
