Angul: A youth was critically injured in a firing by another youth at Badakantakula village under Bantala police limits in Angul district late last night.
The injured has been injured as Akhil Behera (33).
Report says, Akhil and one Sisir Sahu had an heated argument and in a fit of rage, Sisir shot him and Akhil received bullet injuries in his left hand.
The villagers rescued him and admitted him to Bantala Community Health Centre (CHC) for treatment. After his health condition deteriorated he was shifted to Angul District Headquarters Hospital (DHH). Due to excessive bleeding, Akhil’s condition was reported to be serious.
