Bhubaneswar: In a tragic incident, a youth has hacked his elder brother to death in the Botanda area under Airfield Police limits in Bhubaneswar. The deceased has been identified as Prakash Behera.
Reportedly, a heated argument took place between the two brothers over some family feud following which it has been alleged that the accused younger brother, identified as Rakesh Behera, attacked Prakash with a sword and killed him.
After Rakesh killed his elder brother, he smoked a cigarette and dragged Prakash’s body out of the main gate in a filmy style. The accused even posed like a typical villain, clicked a picture and posted it on his Facebook account. He wrote “Pakaa, are you happy?” in his caption.
It is to be noted that the incident took place on January 30, 2022. The whole incident has also been recorded in CCTV footage. The accused has absconded from the area after the murder.
On getting the complaint against Rakesh Behera aka Raka, Airfield Police has initiated a manhunt to apprehend the accused.
