Puri: A youth has been brutally hacked to death inside a house at Korua Chhak near Puri-Brahmagiri road under Puri Sadar police limits last night.
The deceased has been identified as Bela Biswal alias Tulu of the same locality.
The victim who was living in a room inside an apartment located near Korua Chhak was found lying in a pool of blood this morning by some neighbours who called up police.
Puri Sadar Police found multiple injury marks all over the body of the deceased after reaching the spot and carrying out the preliminary investigation later in the morning. The body was later rushed to a nearby hospital for autopsy.
While the investigation into the case is underway, the deceased’s neighbours have suspected it to be the fallout of past rivalry.
