Cuttack: Tension ran high in Mulusuanga village near Nemalo under Salipur Tehsil in the district on Thursday after dead body of a local youth was found hanging from a tree.
The deceased has been identified as Jugal Kishor Dash.
The incident came to light in the morning after some locals spotted the deceased hanging from a tree near Dhabaleshwar temple in the village and informed his family members.
Nemalo Police reached the spot and rushed the body for post-mortem after the deceased’s uncle lodged case in this connection later in the day.
Police said the youth is suspected to have committed suicide and an investigation is under way to find out the cause of the extreme step.
