Keonjhar: Tension ran high in Bhuluda village under Turumunga police limits today morning after dead body of a youth was found from an abandoned well under mysterious circumstances.
The deceased has been identified as Narendra Behera, a resident of Baliapasi village under Chemana panchayat under the same police limits.
Behera, who went out of his home in some work some three days ago didn’t return home. While a frantic search by his family members went futile, some locals who went to a nearby forest early this morning spotted the body floating in the well.
Turumunga Police fished out the body from water with the fire officials later in the morning and rushed for autopsy.
While the cause of the death of the victim is yet to be ascertained, it is being suspected that somebody might have killed him and dumped the body into the well.
