Konark: A 17 year old drowned today at Chandrabhaga beach while taking bath along with his friends in the sea.
The deceased has been identified as Sourajit Rout, a native of of Korakara village under Niali police station limits.
As per reports Rout had been to Chandrabhaga along with eight friends for a picnic. Rout was swept away in the sea current while taking a bath.
Rout’s friends managed to rescue him and later rushed him to the nearest hospital, where he was declared received dead.
